Summary: The SL is an incredible take on the LP style guitar. It is crafted with top shelf tone woods and timbers while utilizing only the best quality hardware and most highly acclaimed pickups available. The SL Deluxe is no exception. The SL Deluxe has b3’s original design humbuckers. The Lollar Imperial Low Wind accentuate the treble frequencies and give them that classic PAF tone. One reason the classic PAF’s are so coveted is because they had plenty of high-end bite with beautiful harmonic overtones; they could play in Tele territory yet still retain that great Les Paul tone. We think our pickups are a great representation of that highly sought after PAF tonality. The SL Deluxe also features push/pull coil taps for each pickup allowing you a wide range of tonal variations.
Body: Bound Spruce top with Rosewood back/sides finished in a Light Tobacco Burst, Hollow Talon Hole chambers.
Neck: Bound Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.625” scale length, 1.687” nut width, 22 frets, 12” radius, 6105 fret wire standard “C” shape.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Lollar Imperial Low Wind humbuckers, 2V1T w/coil tap, two volume/two tone controls/3-way pickup selector, TonePros TOM bridge/stopbar tailpiece, nickel pickup covers.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has beautiful finish checking from the factory. The back of the neck has a few scuffs (See Photos Please). The frets are in great shape. This guitar plays and feel amazing.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
