Before Marshall was blowing ear drums with volume, they were blowing minds with their tone. Bacino Amps presents a faithful recreation of the 18 Watt '65 Marshall model 1958, with no "improvements" or "mods." All original spec for the most authentic tone. That extends to the custom wound transformers, open ended aluminum chassis, and finger jointed baltic birch cabinets. It's an amazing "on the edge of breakup" amp as well as the customary, harmonically rich "amp on 11" type tone. This EL84 driven amp has a great full frequency response, not overly hyped in any range, and it's tube rectified so it's got that musical sag you're looking for. As close to the real thing as you're going to get without a time machine.
