1980 Bigsby Aluminum Bridge Brand New

Coming out of storage here after literally decades, this is a complete bridge, including aluminum base with threaded posts and height-adjustment wheels, not just a top, intended to be used in conjunction with all those archtop guitars with Bigsby tailpieces. Far as I know, this one was made long before the Bigsby stuff was farmed out to overseas production. What many of you may not know is that in the 1970s-80s, the entire Bigsby deal was owned and run by Ted McCarty, he of 1950s Gibson pickup fame, in his retirement, in Michigan. I knew him, used to chat with him at every NAMM show many years ago. Ted passed in 2001 and we all miss him, was a gentleman and a terrific guy in every way. Complete Bigsby bridge set $39
