A faithful reproduction of the 1974 Maxon D&S, basically a Verson 2 Rams Head Big Muff with a different tone stack that gives you a lot more versatility out of your pedal. Traditionally in the Big Muff when you roll off the tone it gets muddy and mushy where the D&S designed the tone stack to keep more definition in the tone as you roll it off. Black Cat liked the circuit so much they built it exactly like the Maxon one, down to the outsourced Toshiba 2SC1815-BL transistors.
