2015 Bourgeois Aged Tone Mahogany OM Natural

Natural, “aged tone” finish on the torrefied Adirondack Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard with MOP dots. Dana Bourgeois has developed a reputation for great guitars since his start in the 70’s. Now he employs about 20 people. These guitars offer a unique X brace that is scalloped on the bass side and tapered on the treble side. He uses a Finnish method of heat-treating wood (torrefaction) aging for the betterment of the tone. This guitar has really great-looking Adirondack top that changes in different lights. The mahogany back and sides have a similar 3D effect as you turn the guitar in your hands. Other specs include a 1 3/4” nut, fairly big but not overwhelming neck with slight V-neck profile. Has a surprisingly deep bass tone for mahogany and is surprisingly loud. Has no cracks, no issues and comes with the original hard case.
