Brook Dart Sunburst

Summary: Made in Devon, England, this acoustic has stunning birds-eye maple back and sides, spruce top and double Florentine cutaway. The mahogany neck has a slim V carve that feels similar to some vintage small bodied Martins. It is in great shape aside from a chip in the finish in the treble side cutaway that happened when someone was re-setting the neck, but it plays and sounds wonderful. This Dart ships in a nice hard-shell case.

Body: Spruce top, birds-eye maple back and sides, double Florentine cutaway, flame maple binding with twig rosette and purfling.

Neck: Slim V mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, pearl dots, bone nut, 1 5/8” nut width and 24 ¾” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: It has a passive under-saddle Piezo pickup, rosewood bridge and bridge pins, bone nut and saddle and Gotoh tuning machines.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent shape aside from a notable chip in the finish around the neck joint. There is also a bit of glue residue around the fingerboard extension and around the nut on the bottom side of the neck. Other than the less than invisible neck reset, the guitar is in fine used condition with just a bit of light scratching around the body.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.

Modifications: The neck has been reset, the nut and saddle have shims.

Weight: 4 lbs, 5 oz.

Case: This Brook guitar comes with a nice hard-shell case that fits the guitar about 90%, there is a bit of wiggle room but we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
