Description

SOLD SN: 121124. Lively 00-18 in very clean condition. With a fresh neck reset and frets by master luthier Mark Tossman, it is set up to play right out of the box. It’s a delightful player’s piece and, perhaps, a great way to start a vintage collection. Aged Sitka top sports the reddish faux tortoise pickguard, original BRW fretboard and bridge, mahogany back and sides and original (and quite rare) Kluson metal button tuners in excellent condition. Internally original and very clean. There is light playwear east of the fretboard and south of the pickguard, the slightest button wear on the back and some shallow divots in the fretboard. This is a crack-free example free of harsh case bites or deep scratches. The tone is bright but not so much so with good volume and projection. Comes with a new Guardian hardshell case that fits like a glove and looks completely appropriate and cool.
