Offered for sale is this spectacular Collings City Limits Deluxe which was completed in early 2012. The City Limits is Collings' version of the venerable Les Paul, but with a build quality that is far higher than you will get from comparable Gibson model.
This is the full-blown Deluxe model City Limits. This particular example has been blessed with an optional premium quilt top, an upgrade that will cost you at least $1K these days. Other specs include: a mahogany body and neck and a total guitar weight of just 8.0 pounds; a Rootbeer high gloss nitrocellulose finish; a lovely Madagascar rosewood fretboard with 24-7/8" scale length, 12" radius, 1-11/16" bone nut and medium frets; a medium/fat "C" shape neck with depth dimensions of .870" at the first and 1.02" at the twelfth; long mortise/tenon neck joint; fully-adjustable truss rod; grained ivroid binding on the top, neck and headstock; ebony headstock overlay with inlaid logo; optional MOP parallelogram fretboard inlays; ivoroid pickup rings and top hat knobs; Lollar Standard Wind Imperial humbuckers; Tonepros bridge and tailpiece; Gotoh SG301 tuners with vintage style buttons; and a deluxe hardshell case by Ameritage.

If this gorgeous guitar has been played, there certainly isn't any cosmetic evidence of it - this guitar is in near mint condition with a few light scuffs on the plastic back compartment cover being the only flaws evident. The frets show no evidence of play.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
