Offered is this superb and near new 2018 Collings I35 with a relatively unique European Spruce top. The I35 is easily one of the finest semi-hollow electric guitars currently available. It takes the very best characteristics of the ES335 design which it emulates and raises the build quality, playability and tone standards to a whole new level. You will find I-35's here often for the simple reason that they are among the finest semi-hollow electrics being made.
The specs for this very special I35 include: a solid, non-laminated top made of straight-grained European Spruce over a Honduran Mahogany semi-hollow body with a Maple center block; a finish of high gloss Iced Tea Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer; a Honduran Mahogany neck with Collings' medium/fat C-shaped neck with depth measurements of .870" at the 1st fret and .995" at the 12th; a dark and nicely figured Rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, medium frets and a 1.6875" bone nut; an extra long mortise and tenon neck joint; a locking TonePros bridge and tailpiece; and for electronics, upgraded ThroBak PAF style humbuckers along with 50's style wiring, DiMarzio 500K pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow caps.
This guitar is incredibly light, weighing just 7 pounds, 2 ounces and is perfectly balanced. The Spruce top combined with the magnificent ThroBak pickups makes this one of the most resonant and clear voiced I35's I've had the privilege of playing. Please listen to the provided sound sample. This beauty is in near mint condition with the only evidence of play being some extremely light pick wear on the pickup covers and pickguard. The frets are spotless. It comes in its similarly spotless Collings / Ameritage hardshell case with all the original paperwork.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
