If you are a fan of Gibson ES guitars, don't play one of these because you may never go back. This 2011 Collings I-35LC is everything the ES 335 has always wanted to be, only far better. Superb playability, the open and woody tone of this guitar and it's upgraded OX4 pickups and the incredible build quality of a Collings. Many players consider these new UK-built OX4 PAF-style low wind humbuckers to be preferable to even the best pickups from Throbak and Wolfetone. This instrument was pro-owned and played. This is not one for collectors or those looking for a pristine instrument. From a foot or more away it looks to be in near mint condition. Inspect it very closely, however, and you will find clearcoat play wear and a few tiny impressions in the playing areas of the top. These cosmetic imperfections aside, this guitar has been given a pro-setup, plays fabulously, sounds even better and the frets are in superb condition.
This guitar comes in it's original Collings/Ameritage case in very nice condition, along with the tools and paperwork. What a great playing and sounding semi-hollow instrument. This is a guitar that will quickly make your forget about your 335!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
