1984 Dean Z USA Cherry Sunburst

1984 USA made Dean Z.
These are getting harder & harder to find.
This is a transition before going mainly to the small headstock model.
The main differences being 24 frets & the mini 3 way as opposed to the 3 way in the horn.
This one has seen some use.
Various nicks, dings, scratches…….one of the headstock “wings“ was split & reglued (seems to stay in tune just fine).
Belt buckle mark that previous owner put a sticker over. All this can be seen in the pictures.
Small spot of finish wear on the front.
Killer flame maple top.
EMG’s added 81 & 85 (I do not have the original Dimarzios).
Cherry burst is brighter in the pics than in person.
Some fretboard divots that can’t really be felt.
Frets are still in nice shape.
Neck is straight & truss rod adjusts as it should.
Overall a pretty groovy guitar that was used as someone’s battle axe in its previous life !!!
Nut width 1.74, Rounded neck profile measuring .88 at the 1st fret and .96 at the 12th.
Weighs 10.1 lbs and perfectly balanced. No neck dive.
Comes with the original hardshell.
One original latch & 2 dumb locking latches added.
