Description

This matched set were originally from a 1951 Gretsch Synchromatic, the precursor to the Country Club. I purchased them for a restoration project and no longer need them. In my opinion, nothing sounds better than the pickups from the 1950’s. I don’t know if it’s the materials, or the aging process, but to me, there is an audible difference in the tonal qualities, and it’s worth the premium price they demand.

Perfect for a restoration project, or for improving the sound of that great newer Gretsch you own.

This includes the neck and bridge pickups that read 9.37 and 9.66 ohms, the height adjustment ring for the bridge pickup, and the full wiring harness, including capacitors, clear plastic knobs, and input jack. Pot dates 304116, 1951, 16th week. Pickup surrounds appear to be chrome, and not gold. Bobbin covering on the underside is clear plastic, which adds a nice retro look. Leads appear to be full length. Selling these for what I paid for them, and worth every penny.
