A no-nonsense Sitka/Mahogany dread that’s ready to drop jaws at the pickin’ party! This is a demo unit with finish checking on top.
Eastman makes a lot of great instruments that feel and sound thousands of dollars more than they actually cost, but every once and a while, one comes along and takes you by surprise. Enter the E6-D.
No fancy binding or inlays here, just a stunning piece of bear claw sitka spruce shaking out monster tone. This thing just booms! Classic D-Style look and feel, with nice tall frets and the warm spicy bite of mahogany back and sides. Take this one to the jam, and you’re bound to make some people jealous.
While we were going to send this particular piece back to Eastman due to checking in the finish on top, we ended up deciding we couldn't. This guitar is a spectacular build even to Eastman standards and sounds spectacular, so we are letting it go at a steal of a price due to the finish checking! Someone will be lucky to have a great sounding guitar at a great used price.
Flatpicking musicians, hard strummers and vocalist/guitarists often choose the Eastman Dreadnought guitars as their “working” instrument. The tonal qualities make it a great choice for vocal accompaniment as a soloist, or backing up a soloist.
Built with the methods and materials of the “Golden Era” of the 30′s & 40′s
