This is a 1963 Epiphone Crestwood made at the Gibson Kalamazoo factory. Talk about under appreciated--the solid body Epiphones from the early Gibson era (1959-1963) are great guitars. They are lightweight and very stylish. It's basically a double cut Telecaster shape with rounded body edges. The Crestwood was the top of the line at this time and sported a pair of mini hum buckers, ABR-1 bridge and "Trem-o-Tone" tailpiece. It's a real looker and a great player. Probably closest to an SG in feel and tone but a lot cooler looking. Big fat neck profile. Original grey with blue lining hard shell case.
