Epiphone Les Paul Standard Ebony

Summary: This is a classic looking Les Paul with an ebony finish & chrome hardware. This Les Paul has recently been set up with a new set of 10’s and it plays and sounds great.

Body: The body is mahogany with a maple top and an ebony finish. The top is fully bound with cream binding to match the other cream appointments on the instrument.

Neck: Mahogany set neck, bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoidal inlays, functioning truss rod and 24.75” scale length. Nut width- 1 11/16”.

Pickups/Hardware: It has 2 humbuckers with a 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones, chrome hardware. The bridge is a tune-o-matic style with a stop-bar tailpiece and it has nice Grover tuners.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape with just a small amount of fret wear, a few light scratches on the back, pick scratches on the top & the pickguard. The previous owner tried to make the back of the neck smooth by taking steel wool to the gloss so it looks dull and you can tell that the gloss has been worn off.

Playability: This LP plays wonderfully, our in house guitar tech has set it up with nice low action and a straight neck and restrung it with a new set of 10 gauge strings.

Modifications: The gloss on the back of the neck has been rubbed down with steel wool for a smoother softer feeling neck.
