Summary: This Epiphone was made in 1996 as a limited edition Purple Burst Les Paul. The flame maple top looks really nice under the purple finish and it is in great used condition. Our in-house guitar tech has just set this guitar up with 10 gauge strings and low action.
Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple top and gloss purple burst finish.
Neck: The mahogany set neck has a bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoidal inlays and 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Hardware: It has 2 humbuckers, 2 volumes, amber knobs, 2 tones, 3 way toggle, ABR1 bridge and tailpiece and green keystone tuners.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in fine shape but does have a few dings around the edges of the body mostly but there are a few on the top, back and sides as well. There are some pick scratches and a few scuffs around the guitar but it is in overall very good shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
