Takamizawa Toshihiko is a famous Japanese guitarist, singer/songwriter, radio host, leader of the folk/rock/metal band The ALFEE, and also well known as a solo artist. Takamizawa is also known for his personal ESP Japan Custom Shop Guitar Creations/Collections and his very few limited signature models. These include the Alfee Angel, the Angel Sword, and the Trump 4 Neck. This 2002 Takamizawa Signature Model is #3 of 20 existing worldwide and was created in the ESP Custom Shop Japan. Flame Maple veneer top with an alder pearl/gold sparkle body, maple bolt-on neck. The Ebony fingerboard is inlayed with a Vine Pattern in Mother-of-Pearl and Abalone . Gold hardware including: gears “Made in Japan”, locking nut, Floyd Rose bridge, arm, and strap buttons. The original pickups are Seymour Duncan SH-2n and SH-14 bridge with gold surrounds. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Duncan ’59 Trembucker with a black surround. The original pickup and gold surround are provided in the original custom fitted case. This guitar is Mint as in looks unplayed. I thank ESP Guitars for their supporting role in my research. Note: This instrument is signed on the back by Takamizawa however without documentation the signature is not reflected in the price. A nice free bonus! Original price was $550,000 yen.
