Description

1963 Fender Stratocaster in very good condition. Features an eye-catching original Fiesta Red finish with a mint green pickguard. It has honest playwear throughout with several areas where the finish is worn down to the undercoat, most noticeably on the front lower bout from armwear. This guitar has been refretted and it has a rewound bridge and middle pickup. There is a rectangular section routed out under the pickguard above the lower horn. The pickguard has cracks on either side of the neck pickup and it is missing two screws on the backplate. The guitar was constructed with an alder body and a maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The neck measures 1 5/8" at the nut and has a depth of 0.82” at the first fret and 0.92” at the 12th fret. The guitar has a 25.5” scale and weighs 7.8 lbs. It comes with a slightly earlier brown Fender hardshell case.
