Description

Summary: This mid ‘50s style Telecaster was expertly crafted in Mexico in 2009 and features a very tasteful relic that rivals some of the Custom Shop pieces we all love. The Roadworn series did a great job at replicating the aged nickel parts, finish checked and battered blonde finish and a big ol’ soft V neck and a flat pole piece bridge pickup. It has just been setup and restrung by our in house guitar tech and ships in its original gig bag.

Body: Ash solid body with aged blonde finish and single ply white guard.

Neck: Thick soft V maple neck with narrow tall frets, end of heel truss rod adjustment, 25.5” scale length and 1.65” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 original single coil pickups, flat pole bride pickup, volume, tone, knurled knobs, 3 way selector, aged nickel parts, round string tree, Kluson style tuning keys and slotted steel saddles.

Cosmetics: This Tele has tons of factory done relicing, wear around the edges of the body, finish worn off the neck and fingerboard, checking in the finish, bumps and dings and scratches you would expect to see on a 65 year old instrument all over the body, neck and pickguard.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: n/a

Weight: 8 lbs, 3 oz.
