Description

Summary: The Reissue '52 Telecaster is one of Fender's longest running reissue models. This Tele replicates the features of the Telecaster from 1952 including an Ash body and Butterscotch Blonde finish. This particular guitar is from 1997 and comes with a tweed hard shell case and the ashtray pickup cover.

Body: Single cutaway light ash body based on the 1952 Telecaster.

Neck: 21-fret maple neck with black dot inlays. These earlier '52 resissue necks have a slim modern C shape rather than the chunky necks found on more recent '52 reissues. The frets are in great shape and have plenty of life left in them.

Electronics/Hardware: 2 single coil pickups, vintage 3 brass saddle style Telecaster bridge, set up with the Modern wiring setup, 3 way switch.

Cosmetics: This guitar does show some pick scratches on the pickguard & I found a few various nicks & dings but nothing major – there are some light scratches on the back of the guitar but overall this Tele is in pretty good shape.

Playability: This tele plays great – the action is low & the guitar plays with no buzzing or dead spots. We set this Tele up with 10’s and it is ready to be played & loved.

Weight: 8 lbs, 4 oz.

Case: Original Fender Tweed hard shell case – this instrument also comes with the original pickup cover.
