1959 Fender® 5F8 A Twin Tweed, Good, $10,000.00

For your consideration is the king of all Tweed Fender amps, the high power Tweed Twin. It was as they say a barn find. The chassis face had been completely rusted over. So I had everything removed from the chassis and had it resurfaced and re chromed. I could not save all the pots, but did save three. The power tube sockets were OK, but the pre amp sockets did need to be changed. The good news is that all of the circuit is till in good shape and original. The speakers needed to be reconed.The Tube chart is date IA (January 1959), the Speakers are dated early 58. The amp plays and sounds great, aas the speakers break in it will only get better.
