Up for sale a Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue tube amplifier in exceptional, near mint condition and in perfect working order. Impeccably well kept and complete with the original two-button footswitch, this Deluxe looks great and truly captures the tonal qualities of the original Blackface design. This amp has been upgraded from stock with a set of Mercury Magnetics transformers, and these "Tone Clone" series transformers are crafted in the USA after extensive research into the hallowed tonal properties of the original Blackface designs. This USA made iron is at the heart of the amp, and the sonic improvements over the stock transformers can't be overstated. The tone is thick, nuanced, and sparkling, and this amp delivers the goods of a vintage example at roughly half the price!

The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue was designed for rock, country, or blues players that want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig. The full, snappy guitar tones heard on many famous recordings from Memphis to Abbey Road were made using the Deluxe amp. The tube driven reverb is very lush, with great decay, and the tremolo circuit has a strong pulse and wide range of speeds from swampy and slow to machine gun fast!

The factory installed Jensen C12K speaker is intact, and with a rating of 100 watts, the speaker has great wattage handling and clear, undistorted response across the tonal spectrum. An upgraded speaker harness and jack has been installed, and the more robust speaker wire makes sure no signal is lost between the circuit and the driver. The factory installed 6V6 power tubes have plenty of life left, are properly biased, and are quite efficient, allowing the player to get the most out of the Deluxe's 22 watts for everything from spanky cleans to smooth overdrive at high volumes.

Cosmetically, this amp is extremely clean with barely any wear on the smooth black tolex. The silver sparkle grillcloth has no snags or tears, and the Blackface faceplate and black skirted "witch hat" knobs are all intact with clean silver inserts. This amp would present well in a studio, and is a great choice for reliable use on the road as well!

The original two-button footswitch is included.
