2006 Fender American Series Stratocaster HSS Sienna Burst with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: The HSS American Series Stratocaster is one of the most versatile models Fender ever released. The S-1 switching offers 5 more tonal options that were not possible before, switchable by a discrete button inlayed into the volume knob. It is in excellent gently used condition and has just been set up with low action by our luthier and restrung with a new set of tens. It ships in its original black molded hardshell case with whammy bar.

Body: The ash body is finished in Sienna Sunburst which allows a lot of the beautiful wood grain to show through.

Neck: The modern C profile maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with white dots, 1 11/16” nut width and 25 ½” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: This Strat has a humbucker in the bridge position, 2 single coil pickups, 5 way switch, volume knob with S-1 switch which gives access to 5 more pickup configurations, 2 tone knobs, closed back Fender tuning keys, 6 stainless steel saddles and vibrato bridge.

Cosmetics: It is in excellent used condition with no breaks, cracks or visible repairs. There is one small grouping of minor dents above the pickguard but they are very hard to spot. (see pictures)

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets have some minor wear but they still have plenty of life left in them.
