2000 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Sunburst
Summary: This Fender Stratocaster is in fine used condition and has been upgraded with Fender Custom Shop pickups. The sunburst finish shows off the beautiful wood grain and the modern C neck profile is very comfortable. It has just been setup and restrung by our in-house guitar tech with 10 gauge strings, low action and a straight neck. It ships in its original hard-shell case.
Body: Alder body with 3 tone sunburst and mint pickguard.
Neck: Maple neck with medium jumbo frets, 25.5” scale length, 9.5” fingerboard radius, 1.675” nut width and headstock truss rod access.
Pickups/Hardware: 3 upgraded Fender Custom Shop single coil pickups, 5 way switch, volume, 2 tones, 2 point “Synchronized Trem” system with 6 stainless steel saddles, closed back Fender tuning keys and 2 string trees.
Cosmetics: This guitar has some normal cosmetic wear for a guitar over 20 years old. There are a couple minor dents in the back of the neck, a few small chips in the paint around the edges of the body as well as some light scratches around the bottom edge, some light pick scratching on the top of the guitar and a few small dings by the output jack. There are some dents in the knobs likely from someone trying to remove them and switch tip is a little scuffed up. There is some fret wear but the frets are still plenty tall with tons of life left in them.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets have some divots from use mainly under the b and g strings but they are still plenty tall with lots of life left. This Strat plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: 3 upgraded Fender Custom Shop pickups and possible a changed pickguard.
