2014 Fender AVRI '56 Stratocaster (1956 reissue) Blonde

Summary: The American Vintage '56 Stratocaster is based on the 1956 specifications, including a "soft V" neck profile, period correct headstock, pickguard and vintage-style tremolo. It features three American Vintage '56 single coil pickups. Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, set up and restrung this Fender with a new set of 10s, the action is low, the neck is straight and the frets are in great shape. It ships in its original tweed hard-shell case with tons of case candy!

Body: One piece ash body with blonde finish and topped off with a one ply white guard.

Neck: Soft V profile on a full maple neck with a 25 ½” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width. End of heel truss rod adjustment and period correct headstock shape with single string tree.

Pickups/Hardware: 3 ’56 single coil pickups, 5 way switch, volume, 2 tones, vintage style synchronized tremolo, vintage style tuning keys and bone nut.

Cosmetics: The finish has some weather checking, there are lots of dings and dents around the edges of the body and one on the back but overall it is in great shape. There are also some dings around the edges of the headstock and a couple on the treble side edge but nothing severe or distracting from the playability.

Playability: The big fat neck on this vintage Fender just feels perfect! We put a new set of 10’s on this guitar & the action is low & the instrument plays great up & down the fingerboard. The frets are in superb shape with no dents or grooves to mention.
