1964 Fender Band-Master
Painted black (“old-fashioned white tolex under the paint subsequently “modernized” by a previous owner). Transformers all dated the 40th week of (or so) of 1963. “Fender Electric” logo, definitively pre-CBS. Works and sounds great, other than the paint and newer late ‘60s grill cloth All-stock save for an added line out jack (useful for recording) and grounded plug. No dirty pots, no filter cap crackle. We did not run this through the shop as it tested fine. Has that fantastic deep warm tone that makes pre-CBS Fenders the most sought-after amps of the past 50 years. See our photos of the inside. We suggest that you put in the time to remove the paint for added value. A workhorse and a bargain.
