Here's a Fender Bass VI for the player. Body and Serial Number date the bass to 1963 with a neck dated 1962. Alder body with 3 tone Sunburst finish, Maple neck (30" scale) and Rosewood fingerboard. 3 pickups, "toothed" style, slider controls (on/off) for each pickup with fourth slider to provide bass-cut. One volume and one tone control. Fender floating tremolo with working lock button and intact string mute.
The bass has been played and shows scratches, nicks/dents, belt buckle rash, play wear, etc. At one point the bass was played by a lefty so there is a screw hole in the lower bout for strap button. The bass is solid and there are no repairs. The truss rod works and the frets are in great shape. The guitar appears to be all original. The case also appears to be original but is in poor shape.
This bass is sold AS IS with no returns. Please ask questions and additional pictures are available.
