This is, hands down the loudest and strongest-sounding tweed Champ we've ever had. It starts to get rambunctious at 3 and then opens up nicely from there. In order to put it to the true test, we plugged a Les Paul Studio into it for the initial trial run and believe me, folks- no one here was disappointed. This amp has a set of cojones that have to be heard in person to be believed.

The only changes we can find on the amp are the AC cord end and the handle, which is a very nice repro example. Check out the pictures to see the transformer codes. The picture of the speaker code is reflected in a mirror, so it reads an Oxford speaker that dates to the 11th week of 1960. After that, it's all pure tweed honey tone from there and as an added bonus, the amp comes with a like-new, canvas cover that fits perfectly and looks great.

As always, thanks for stopping by and please call or email with any questions!
