Very cool 1967 (19JAN67B) Fender Coronado II in candy apple red with matching headstock. All original parts except for one replaced/fabricated pickup spacer. Finish is strong and in great shape, but there are two small areas on the back that look like they were exposed to heat or something chemical (see pic). A couple areas of minor rash too, but not through to wood. Initials had been glued to front upper bout, but easily removed. Left the outline in the patina though. (If you are D A H, then this guitar is for YOU!) SS# engraved on neck plate and tailpiece end too. Obviously pre-ID-theft days, eh? Plays great. Plenty of life left on the frets, but they're a bit small to begin with - definitely not jumbos. Had to make one minor mod for playability. Pups were really close to strings, and the neck pup especially was deadening the strings with its magnet. So... shimmed the neck to gain a couple of mm, and swapped the pickup spacer for an ultra thin replacement to gain another mm (looks perfect). Plays and sounds awesome now. Strong and well balanced output. BTW, don't think of this guitar as a hollow-body Strat. It's not. With it's Dearmond single-coils it's more like a Fender version of a Gretsch or a Harmony.

Real charges only - no added materials or handling charges. All guitars insured for full value. I will use the least expensive shipping available, although this may be slow in some circumstances (e.g. parcel post). Please let me know if you desire a faster, albeit more, expensive service. Please allow 2 - 4 days of time to prepare and pack your guitar IN ADDITION to the actual shipping transit.

NO buyer's remorse PLEASE! Damage or loss in shipping = insurance claim (with which I will be glad to assist you). At my discretion, a disatistfied buyer may return a guitar (with a thorough explanation) for a full refund of purchase price but not of shipping. I'd rather begrudgingly take back a guitar than truly disappoint a customer. If, however, I have ever made a serious error in identification/originality/damage etc. that negatively affects a guitar's value, then a full refund including shipping will be given. PLEASE file any return claims ASAP - seven days at most.
