Here's something you won't see every day, or ever I suppose. I've looked and looked online and cannot find another of the 25 Teles from this run. We called Fender and they confirmed tha tthey made this model but had zero info on it, explaining that they didn't keep records of who ordered what and what the guitars were in these limited runs back then.
It really is a truly unique build, and it feels and plays amazing. The finish all over is light, like an oil stain without gloss.
Being semi hollow, I guess the light weight isn't all that surprising, but with rosewood being as heavy as it is it is refreshing to feel this guitar on you, weighing in at just 7lbs 2oz.
The body is alder with a rosewood cap. The neck is solid rosewood with a maple "skunk stripe".
The guitar is all original with no repairs or issues.
If you're looking for something unique, this might be your gig. It has been hiding from view for nearly 30 years, and apparently so are its 24 brothers!
