2016 Custom Shop ’59 Telecaster Journeyman Relic
This is the "59 Telecaster Journeyman Relic" model, which reproduces the specs of the '59 model. The maple one-piece neck, which was the specification of the previous Telecaster, has been eliminated and the fingerboard has been replaced with a slab of rosewood.
The '59 model features an alder body and an 8-point 3-ply pickguard, but this has a chocolate sunburst finish with a slightly faded black, a single-ply pickguard with an 8-point stop, and a unique mix of pre- and post-specification changes unique to the transitional period.
The entire body is decorated with journeyman relics that are weather-checked but with modest paint peeling and dents, and it has a calm and mature texture combined with the dull-colored metal parts.
The rift-cutting quarter-sawn neck has a thin C shape, with a 9.5R fretboard with Narrow Tall frets, and the guitar is equipped with Hand-Wound 1958 Tele Pickups with Bricenda Pineda's signature.
There is no signs of play-wear, frets remain more than 80%, and the neck and the truss rod are in good condition with no problems.
