Description

Offered here is just your basic, beautiful and very desirable Fender Custom Shop 60's NOS Stratocaster, this one just completed just last month (March, 2020). It is essentially a new guitar, but could not be sold as such because of a couple of very hard to find finish checks behind the bridge.

The specs on this bread and butter instrument include an Alder body and a quarter sawn Maple neck with vintage tint. The neck shape is a medium depth '66 oval C measuring .84" at the 1st fret and .92" at the 12th. It has a very dark AAA grade Rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius, jumbo frets, a 1.650" bone nut and MOP fingerboard inlays. The pickups are hand wound dual magnet single coils with RWRP wiring on the middle pickup. The guitar is finished in three tone sunburst nitro lacquer with no aging and it weighs 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

This guitar is a modern classic; much like the originals upon which it is based, but with the essential modern day improvements that today's musicians most often demand. It plays superbly and and sounds even better. Please check out the brief sound sample provided.

As noted above, this guitar could not be sold as new because of a couple of finish checks behind the bridge. In all other respects, it is a new instrument. It comes in its original lacquered tweed case with all the paperwork and accessories. Get yourself a near new modern classic at a decent price with this beautiful Custom Shop Strat. Marvelous!
