Fender Custom Shop 2009 TB 1960 Stratocaster Relic
This is a custom-ordered Teambuilt "1960 Stratocaster Relic" model, as requested by the distributor ar the time.
Finished in a dark shade of Lake Placid Blue, it has a vintage look with weather checks, tarnished metal parts, and dents and scratches.
The small head and slab-applied rosewood fingerboard are faithfully reproduced in keeping with 1960s specs.
The neck has a narrow C-shape, which was typical of this production period in the '60s. The fingerboard radius is 7.25R and it has vintage type frets.
The pickups are original Custom 60s STRATs, and the wiring has been modified to improve the performance of the bridge tone.
The saddle screws have been replaced.
There are no dents in the frets, and there is about 80% remaining overall. There are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
