The 'Black Paisley 1968 Telecaster Relic' is a reissue of the limited-edition model from the 2021 Fender Custom Shop Spring Event.

This model is a reissue of the Paisley Telecaster, which was produced in small numbers between 1968 and 1969 in response to psychedelic hippie culture. It is now available in black, a color that was not available at the time of its original production.

It features the characteristic pasted maple neck of the 1968 model, a body without an extra cavity and a clear guard with a painted back to conceal the cavity interior.

The body has a "Relic" finish with paint chips and scratches, and the back of the neck has a "Heavy Relic" finish with peeled paint.

The neck grip is a slightly thicker 60 Style Oval “C” with 7.25-9.5R compound radius fingerboard and narrow tall type frets.

The pickups are hand-wound "Original BlackGuard (OBG)" and "Twisted Tele", and it is equipped with Grease Bucket Tone to prevent tone overload.

Both the neck and truss rod are in good condition with little signs of wear, and there are no problems with the frets.
