Fender Custom Shop 2013 MBS 1956 Stratocaster Relic Master Built by Todd Krause
This "1956 Stratocaster Relic" model was built by master builder Todd Kraus, who has worked on guitars for many artists.
The blackened fingerboard, peeling paint on the side of the neck, detailed weather checks, dents on the body, and tarnished metal parts are all reproduced by the relic work, giving the guitar a stunning look that only a builder can provide.
The neck is a soft "V" shape, quite thick for a '56, with a slightly asymmetrical shape.
The fingerboard is vintage style with 7.25 radius and narrow frets.
The pickups have the original black bobbins and the cavity is coated with conductive paint for noise reduction.
The frets are not dented and have about 70-80% remaining overall, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
