Fender Custom Shop 2008 MBS 1964 Stratocaster Heavy Relic by Todd Krause
This is the “1964 Stratocaster Heavy Relic” model built by master builder Todd Kraus, who has worked on guitars for many artists.
Based on the 1964 Stratocaster shown on pages 122–123 of the book Galaxy of Stratos, this model features a three-tone sunburst colour with a thick black outer edge and an exposed yellow undercoat on the top contour.
The guitar features a spaghetti logo and a round laminated fingerboard. The neck is a narrow mid-60s style oval "C" and the fingerboard radius is 9.5R with narrow-tall frets.
The pickups are equipped with Texas Special and have been wrapped with shielding to prevent noise.
The pickguard has been replaced and one extra screw hole has been drilled under the pickguard.
The saddle on the 6th string has been replaced.
The frets are over 90% remaining, and the neck and rods are in good condition.
