2002 Master Built Custom ’69 Stratocaster Relic by Mark Kendrick / Norman’s Rare Guitars
This is a "Custom 1969 Stratocaster Relic" model built by master builder Mark Kendrick.
This special model was ordered by Norman's Rare Guitars, an American music store, and comes with engraved joint plate and Norman's Rare Guitars certificate.
It features specs from 1969, including a maple laminated fingerboard, a large head, F-key tuners, and 4-point F-logo joint plate, and relic processing reproduced dents and paint peeling and weather checks on the lacquered headstock.
Conductive paint has been applied inside the cavity and the ground wire has been re-drawn.
The grip of the neck is a thinner C shape, and three hand-wound gray bobbin pickups signed by Abigail Ybarra are loaded.
Some discoloration is seen on the body, but the guitar shows relatively little signs of use, with about 80-90% frets remaining overall. The neck and truss rod are both in good working order.
