2021 Masterbuilt Limited Edition Joe Strammer Esquire Jason Smith

The "Joe Strummer Esquire Relic" model is a reproduction of the white Esquire used by "Joe Strummer", of the punk rock band "The Clash", limited to 70 pieces worldwide.

The original guitar often appeared in live performances from the 3rd album "London Calling", which is known as a historical masterpiece, to the 5th album "Combat Rock" (1979-82), and was used on the UK tour in 1980.

All made by Jason Smith, the distinctive black racing stripes, the New Orleans Bourbon Street sticker on the bottom of the bridge, and the scars of intense live use are faithfully reproduced.

The body is offset 2-piece alder, and the pickup is equipped with a '55 / '56 pickup hand-wound by Josefina Campos.

The neck is a slab laminated AAA grade dark shade rosewood in a slender "59 Esquire C" shape with 9.5R & medium jumbo frets (6150) for excellent playability.

Other details include SCHALLER mini-tuning machines, selector knobs for black Strat, Jim Dunlop strap locks, '59 Telecaster bridge for both back-through and top-loading, and screw-on jack plates.

There is play-wear such as fret wear or scratches, and the neck and the truss rod are both excellent condition.

All accessories are included, so it is the best for collection, or for playing on stage like Joe Strummer himself.

It comes with a special pink exterior/leopard print inside liner case and a Fender leather strap with leopard print shoulder pads.
