Fender Custom Shop 2014 Team Built 1954 Stratocaster Heavy Relic 60th Anniversary

This "1954 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model was produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Stratocaster.

The specs from 1954 have been reproduced, including the 1-piece ash body, 1-piece maple neck, rounded pickup covers, etc. The entire surface of the body in a subdued two-tone sunburst color finish and the neck have been subjected to a bold, relic finish, giving the guitar an outstanding, well-used vintage guitar-like look.

The neck is a thick soft V-shape with a 9.5 radius fingerboard and medium jumbo type frets for better playability.

It has been rewired to work with the tone of the bridge pickup, and aluminum foil has been applied to the inside of the back panel to prevent noise, and conductive paint has been applied to the inside of the cavity.

The knobs and tuning pegs have been replaced, but the original parts are included.

It is in very good condition considering its age with little signs of use.

The frets are not worn and the neck and truss rod are in good working order.
