1955 Fender Deluxe Tweed

This amp is what some of us dealers call a "closer". When selling a guitar and you want to close the deal, you have the buyer play it through the best sounding amp in the shop. This is the OK Guitars "closer." A great sounding 55 Deluxe. It was owned by Walter Becker (Steely Dan) and was purchased from his estate. It has some changes. It was very well re-tweeded-looks like Gregg Hopkins' work. I changed out the speaker-it had a Weber in it but I thought it sounded better with a Celestion alnico (Vox badge, re-coned). The oT has been changed. The caps have been done. Comes with the hardcover book of the entire Becker auction from last October. If you want the Weber, I'll put it back in. No extra charge (I keep the Celestion). This is not an amp for the collector.
