1963 Fender Deluxe Blackface

Here we have a very clean 1963 Black face Fender Deluxe. The MH stamp puts it at December of 1963. It has been recapped with 3 blue Spragues and 1 TAD cap, and has had a 3 pin AC cable installed, with the ground switch bypassed. Original AC cable included, and the death cap is still inside, just no current going to it. It had been recapped, a long time ago, and needed it again. The Jensen C12P is 51st week of 1962, output transformer and choke are early 1963. The date code on the power transformer had me thinking late 1961, but these solder joints aren't original, and the AC leads are black and white, so I am going with it has a 1971 power transformer. A repaired ground, otherwise all the tone components and solder joints are stock. Part of the label must have been loose, and has been reglued, somewhat sloppily. Amp sounds wonderful. I always liked the non reverb models, they always sounded like they had more grit and rocked harder than the reverb models. Thanks for looking!
