This is a highly original 1967 A-neck "Duo Sonic II".
The "Duo Sonic" was produced as a student model, but when the Mustang was introduced, the name and specifications were changed to make it a non-tremolo version of the Mustang.
It has a vintage look with fine weather checks throughout the body, peeling paint on the elbow and neck, and dents all over the body.
It has a 22 1/2" scale with 21 frets, a “9 SEP66 A" neck, serial '66, pot date '67 and pickups '66.
The hex nut and strap pin securing the switch have been replaced.
The volume knob line has been repainted in white.
It has been re-fretted and re-nutted, with very little fret wear and no problems with the neck and rod.
