I've always wondered what it would be like to ask the person who wrote "Clapton is God" on that wall in London so many years ago what piece or pieces of music made them stop and do it. Those three words are indeed a strong testament to the lasting legacy of his music and I believe Eric was playing with Mayhall around that time. That's when the good stuff was being made...
This Torino Red rocker is everything you would expect from an American-made, Signature edition guitar. It's very well put together and does hold up the quality and tradition of those '90s Anniversary Fenders. This one was easy to detail and set up- the Lace Sensor pickups are bell-tone rich and if you are of a mind to dirty things up a bit, they'll more than hold their own in that department. Bluesy, spanky, swampy- call it what you will, this guitar has the tonal goods in spades.
As to the condition, we have a very clean one here. There are a few light surface scratches and squiggles, but they are slight and this guitar has been well cared for and is ready to continue serving for many years to come. We have also detailed the case and you can see what case candy is included in the package.
