Since many of us are '70s and '80s kids," I assume we still try to go to guitar stores as often as we can if only to reminisce. I can only attest for myself, but I still do get "that feeling" whenever I walk into the door of an independent music store, excited to see what may have come in. The big-box stores not so much because it seems like everything in these places was either made in Indonesia or China, for Pete's sake.

That said, I can imagine walking into a place and seeing a Soloist on the wall. It does say "Made in USA" on the headstock, which is why when you ask the attendant how much it costs, he doesn't even bat an eye when he spits out a price north of 4k. That's a lot of Cheetos for a shredder, considering they were about half that price back in the day and that's where this HM Strat comes in.

All you would have to do is walk on down the aisle until you come to this guitar. Snatch it right off the wall and plug it in. Find yourself an amp to sit on and now it's time to start tearing the frets off this thing because as they've said for a hundred years: It's all in the hands, man. Since you still remember those solos off of "Out of the Cellar" and "Tooth and Nail," heads are soon turning to see who's turning back the Rock clock and doing a damn fine job of it. When you're finished murdering this Strat, you simply smile and say "I'll take it," saving yourself about 2800 bucks. That's the story that was in my head at 5:30 this morning when I woke up. Seems about fitting, I'd say.

This HM Strat is super clean and while there are a couple of very faint dings on the front, you'll have to look for them. It's been set up and detailed, so it will arrive ready to twirl right out of the box. All you'll have to do is tune it up and go. The hardshell case more than protects the guitar and we were quietly pleased to not hear "Comes in a gigbag, man" when we acquired the guitar. One thing you'll never have to explain is clean quality, my friends, so as always, thanks for stopping by and please call, email, or PM with any questions!
