Up for sale is a stunning 1962 Fender Jaguar in a custom color Fiesta Red finish. The finish on the body of this instrument has a checkered past and was oversprayed in both Dakota Red and Fiesta Red at some point and since has been buffed and polished giving it a true vintage look. As shown in the cavities and on the face of the headstock this Jaguar was original Fiesta Red and retains its original headstock finish and finish in all body cavities. Body finish aside this guitar is largely original and has all pre CBS features such as a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard w/ clay dots, Kluson single line tuners, flat pole piece pickups and a mint green nitrate pickguard. Body date is in tact and is 10/62 and the neck is date stamped 1SEPT62B. Visible pot codes are 3046232 dating to the 32nd week of 1962. The bridge has been upgraded to a Mastery (original bridge is included). Overall this guitar is well worn as shows a decent amount of finish wear on the body and neck. I am of the belief it looks fantastic and is truly art. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original brown hardshell case.
