1963 Fender Jaguar. This early L Series guitar is all original, other than changed tuners, changed pots, and a professional refret. The body finish is worn, but the guitar is otherwise in excellent condition.
The guitar features the more desirable, earlier flat pole pickups, which were phased out not long after this guitar was produced.
The guitar sounds and plays great with a nice straight, neck. The serial number is L17XXX. The weight is 8.7 lbs. The neck measures .825" at 1st fret and .999" at 12th fret, making this a medium, to full feeling C shape. Nut measures 1.64", on the wider side of normal. Original pickups measure 7.4K Ohms at neck and 7.2K Ohms at bridge.
The guitar ships in its original Fender white Tolex case, which is in surprisingly clean condition. Apparently, this one owner guitar was played a lot at home, but was not taken on the road.
