Description
Up for sale is a super cool 1964 Fender Jaguar in a unique and visually appealing Red-Burst body refin. This instrument likely started its life as Candy Apple Red as is shown on the matching headstock which retains its original finish. This instrument features a 1JUL64B neck stamp, L serial plate, slightly later Kluson double line tuners, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots, white pickguard. The bridge pickup is a period correct black bobbin without a date and the neck is a later grey bobbin ink stamped 14147. Visible pot codes are 3046450 dating to the 50th week of 1964. There is a small filled hole on the face of the headstock from an additional string tree. The bridge is changed to a modern Jaguar / Jazzmaster bridge and in turn has a little bridge rattle. A common bridge upgrade for this would be a Mastery or Mustang bridge. Cool guitar! Comes complete with its original hard case. Weight: 8lbs. 6oz.
