Description

1965 Fender Jaguar. This well worn guitar is all original with a few minor exceptions. The rhythm tone pot has been replaced with a correct Fender Custom Shop spec CTS pot, and the rhythm switch has been replaced with a correct Custom Shop spec Switchcraft unit. The bridge is a Mustang bridge, as these bridges perform better than the originals. The nut has been replaced.

Otherwise, the guitar is all original, including finish, electronics, hardware, and plastic.

There is a small crack in the neck that extends from the nut area, and along the fingerboard. This likely happened due to exposure to extremes of moisture and/or temperature. The crack has been professionally repaired and should be no issue going forward. The crack is minor, only on the top surface of the neck and does not extend through the wood. There is faint evidence of some writing on the back of the guitar in red marker, barely visible.

The serial number is L97XXX. The guitar weighs 8.3 lbs. The original pickups measure 6.9K Ohms at the neck and 7.5K Ohms at the bridge. The neck is a nice, medium, "C" shape, measuring .817" at 1st fret, and .981" at 12th fret.

The guitar ships in a gig bag.

This guitar is priced aggressively, due to the minor defects, and is a great value at this price for an original L-Series Jaguar.

Satisfaction guaranteed. Keep the guitar for 48 hours and if not fully satisfied, return for a full refund minus shipping charge.
