Summary: What a cool era aesthetically for offset Fender guitars, bound neck and block inlays on a rosewood board with that thick black outlined gold Fender logo! This guitar is in immaculate shape with just a little wear through the finish around the arm contour. Our in-house luthier has just inspected, setup and restrung this Jag with a new set of 10s and it ships in its original hardshell case with bridge cover and whammy bar.

Body: Solid alder body offset guitar with 3 tone sunburst finish and 4 ply tortoise pickguard.

Neck: The maple neck is in superb shape, B stamped Novermber of 1966, bound rich and red rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, 1.613” nut width, 24” scale length and end of heel truss rod adjustment.

Pickups/Hardware: It has the original Jaguar single coils, on/off switches for each, bass cut switch, volume, tone, rhythm circuit, the bridge posts have inserts slipped over them so it wont rock back and forth when the vibrato unit is used and it has the original F stamped tuning keys. The strap buttons have been swapped out for strap lock style buttons. The saddles have also been changed to chrome plated notched-barrel style saddles which have been on there for a long time.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with just a patch of finish worn off the arm contour area, some small chips, dings and dents around the edges, almost no buckle rash and a very small ding in the binding around the 12th fret. The replaced saddles have a bit of corrosion on them and the headstock face has some finish checking.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: Changed saddles and strap buttons.

Weight: 8 lbs, 10 oz.

Case: This Jaguar ships in its original hardshell case with bridge cover and whammy bar. We will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
