This pair of original Jaguar pickups came to me from someone who, unwisely and much to his everlasting chagrin, had taken them out of his 1964 Fender Jaguar in order to “improve” it when he was so much younger and thought he was so much smarter, as many of us knew for a fact back then. He’s had them, put away, all this time. The wires are correct, the covers are correct, and there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of them ever having been fooled with. They measure 5990Ω and 6387Ω respectively, right in that 6000Ω sweet spot, and have their original staggered pole pieces, all that.
